        What a blessing and privilege it is to serve the Lord Jesus Christ.  Far too often people feel they must conform to an unspoken standard for acceptance into a church family.  We believe that Christ is our standard and we ALL have a long way to go to reach Him.  "Diversity in Character - One in Purpose" sums up our ministry vision.  It takes two significant events to create harmony in a song.  First, several unique voices must complement each other to create a single, rich sound.  If one part dominates, harmony is not achieved.  Second, it requires the skill of a master with the ability to control each individual.  Every part must trust the master without reservation.  He can hear the group as one where each member will hear their own voice above all the rest.  It takes someone greater than the individuals to accomplish this.  That is ministry at Harmony Baptist Church.  Jesus Christ is our Master and requires complete submission to His control.  We are the parts that make the whole.  No one individual has a greater part than another.  Some are reserved, others outgoing.  Some love noise, others love quiet.  Some can laugh in the midst of the storm, others plan how to weather the storm.  The point is, we are all unique, all individuals, but more important, all working together as one for our Master.  If you are desiring a church that will not compromise the Word of God while enjoying the abundant life it promises, Christ may be leading you to join His work at Harmony  Where Love Really is Alive!  If you would like more information please feel free to call or send me an email.
