The Plan of Salvation

What you need to know for His plan to work

All have sinned...
     Rom 3:23 "... all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God"
The price of sin is death...
     Rom 6:23a "... the wages of sin is death"
The gift of God is eternal life...
     Rom 6:23b "the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus"
You must repent and confess your sin...
     Acts 2:38 "Repent, and each of you be baptized in the name of
                       Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins; and
                       you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit."

     Rom 10:9a "... if you confess with your mouth"
Ask Jesus into your heart and be Lord and Savior of your life...
     Rom 10:9-10 "... if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord,
                           and believe in your heart that God raised Him from
                           the dead, you will be saved; for with the heart a
                           person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with
                           the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation."

The prayer can be as simple as "Jesus, I am a sinner and
I need You to save me.  I believe you died for my sins. 
I ask you to forgive me, come into my heart, and be
ruler over my life. Thank you for saving me."

Then His Plan Begins!
